In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins
One day as I was mediating on the Cross of Christ I began to perceive the Cross from a different perspective. The Father seeing His Son from a "higher perspective". This picture was painted as a duet with Corinne Green. We painted over a 9 month period. We started with the "crown of glory", in gold. Then as we painted the "crown of thorns" and we began to seek what God would want with the bottom of the painting. Over a period of months we struggled with the understanding. Praying and pondering what the Holy Spirit wanted to "reveal". As we continued to pray we realized the blood that Jesus poured out for us would have cleansed us from all sin. Washed "whiter than snow".
